I had the opportunity to participate in a hackathon hosted by IIT Madras Research Park. After clearing the preliminary round, I was invited to participate in the offline event, which lasted for 6 hours. The theme of the hackathon was computer vision, and we were given a video on the spot which we had to use to complete various tasks. The challenges included body posture tracking, box tracking, face detection, and face blurring and many more. I am proud to say that I placed 3rd in the competition and was rewarded with a cash prize and a certificate of excellence. It was an incredibly challenging and rewarding experience. The hackathon was a great opportunity for me to learn and improve my skills in computer vision. The mentors and experts from the industry provided valuable guidance and feedback throughout the event.

I am excited to share that I participated in the Innovate Project Expo and Integrated 3 credit course introduced by Presidency University. The event brought together 3,000 engineering students, who formed 450 teams. I was the team leader of my team and we worked hard to put together a strong project proposal. The first day of the event was dedicated to course validation, during which the top 80 projects were selected to move on to the expo. On the second day, the top 80 teams displayed their projects to a panel of 8 industry experts. The panelists evaluated each project and declared the top 10 teams. I am proud to say that my team secured the 10th rank among all the 450 teams. The Innovate Project Expo was an incredible learning experience for me. I had the opportunity to work on a real-world project, and received valuable feedback from industry experts. It was an honor to be recognized as one of the top teams and receive the certificate of excellence and gifts as a reward for our hard work. I would like to thank the University for creating such an opportunity for students like me to showcase our skills and learn from the experts in the field.
